No overselling, no guesswork — just a Heat Pump Repair crew that diagnoses it right the first time. Same-day appointments available across Strasburg and the surrounding zip codes.
No automated menus for emergencies — a real person handles the call.
You'll get a flat-rate quote before any repair work begins — no guessing what the final bill will look like.
Most repairs are completed same-visit, and we test the system before we leave to confirm it's actually holding.
Leonard HVAC was built by technicians who got tired of watching homeowners get oversold. Every technician we send to your door is background-checked, factory-trained, and licensed to work on the systems installed throughout Strasburg, PA.
We're not the biggest name in Strasburg — we're the company that tells you what actually needs fixing instead of what pads the ticket. We carry the credentials Strasburg inspectors and property managers expect to see, and we keep that documentation available on request for every job, routine or emergency.
Being local matters more than most companies let on. That local knowledge shapes the parts we stock on the truck — it's the difference between a tech who's guessing and a tech who's seen your exact situation a hundred times before.
Ask around Strasburg and you'll hear the same complaint about a lot of HVAC companies. That's the gap we built Leonard HVAC to close. Every dispatcher, every technician, and every follow-up call is held to the same standard, because a customer who trusts us once tends to call us again — and Strasburg is a small enough community that reputation travels fast.
Our office team is based locally too, not routed through an out-of-state call center that's never seen a Strasburg rooftop unit. We keep parts inventory stocked based on what actually fails most often on Strasburg's housing stock.
Every service below is backed by the same licensing, warranty, and upfront pricing you get on any job we run.
Breakdowns rarely happen at a convenient time, which is exactly why our emergency line runs 24 hours a day. Our Strasburg dispatch team prioritizes no-heat and no-cooling calls so a technician is diagnosing your system as fast as physically possible.
Once a technician is on-site, the goal is always a same-visit repair — most emergency calls in Strasburg get resolved in a single trip, not a multi-day back-and-forth.
An aging system that's constantly breaking down usually costs more to keep patching than to replace. We walk Strasburg homeowners through efficiency ratings and how they translate into real monthly savings before a single piece of equipment gets ordered.
Every install ends with a performance test, confirming airflow, temperature split, and refrigerant charge are all where they should be before we consider the job finished.
Downtime in a commercial space costs money every hour a system is offline. Our commercial division services light industrial and warehouse ventilation across Strasburg, with priority response for facilities that can't afford downtime.
We understand that a commercial call isn't just about comfort, it's about keeping a business open.
Most emergency breakdowns start as a small, ignorable warning sign months earlier. Beyond standard tune-ups, we also handle duct cleaning and sealing to stop conditioned air from leaking into attics and crawlspaces for Strasburg households that want more than just temperature control.
Maintenance plan members in Strasburg get scheduling reminders automatically, so tune-ups don't fall through the cracks during a busy season.
We'd rather set clear expectations upfront than make vague promises we can't back up.
If the same issue returns within the warranty period, we come back and fix it at no additional labor cost.
We quote a flat rate before work begins and that number doesn't change once you approve it.
If anything feels off after we leave, one call gets a tech back to your Strasburg address.
A little attention to how your system is running can save you a lot of money and discomfort.
Rattling during startup often means a component has worked itself loose and needs tightening before it causes real damage.
Weak airflow from the vents often traces back to a clogged filter, a failing blower motor, or leaking ductwork.
Gradual efficiency loss is easy to miss month to month, but it adds up fast over a season.
This is one of the warning signs we recommend not waiting on.
Chemical odors may signal a refrigerant leak, which requires a licensed technician to handle safely.
Repeated repairs on an aging system are usually the clearest sign that replacement will save more money than another patch job.
We explain diagnostic fees and repair estimates before authorizing work.
Emergency calls get moved to the front of the line automatically.
We don't consider a job finished until the system is actually performing correctly.
We run background checks because you're letting someone into your home.
We explain what failed, why it failed, and what the options are.
We'll walk you through what's actually available before you decide.
We don't write these — our customers do.
"The furnace stopped working overnight and someone was at our door before 9am. No pressure to buy a whole new system when a repair was all we needed."
"We've used them for our maintenance plan for two years now and never had a surprise breakdown. Techs are always polite, always on time, and clean up after themselves."
"They handled the whole install in a single day, exactly like they said they would. Followed up a week later just to check everything was still running fine."
"Commercial dispatch was quick and the tech understood our system without needing to be walked through it. Documentation for our records was thorough and easy to file."
"I appreciated that they didn't try to sell me a bigger unit than I needed. Installation crew was in and out in a day and left the space cleaner than they found it."
"The tech walked me through what he was checking as he went, which I really appreciated. No overnight surcharge shock — the price matched what dispatch quoted me on the phone."
Understanding what typically fails helps homeowners know what to watch for and when a repair call is worth making before things get worse.
The shift between peak heating and peak cooling demand is exactly when older or neglected equipment tends to fail. Before the heaviest cooling months hit, it's worth having the refrigerant charge checked, the condenser coils cleaned, and the filter replaced — all of which directly affect how hard the compressor has to work.
Setting a programmable or smart thermostat to a consistent schedule reduces the number of times the system has to work hard to catch up to a big temperature swing. None of this replaces a professional tune-up, but it does reduce the wear that leads to premature breakdowns between visits.
Our technicians train across the major residential and commercial equipment lines, so you're not limited to a single brand's service network. If your system was installed by a different company entirely, that's not a problem — we service equipment regardless of who originally put it in, and we'll pull the model and serial information to confirm parts compatibility before any repair begins.
We don't outsource dispatch to a call center that's never met our technicians.
